Louis Vuitton duffle bag cake

My friend Leo came to me and asked me to make the most authentic LV bag possible for his significant other, I did change it up a bit to keep it so I dont get in trouble with any name brand, but teh variations are very slight. You cant really tell from the pics, but this bag had it all, stitching detail, gold hues and the handles had a lot of detail as well. I am so unbelievably proud of this bag!!!!!!!!!!! not bad for my first one! Hope yall like it!

"saw em off" mini game day cakes

I went to the Texas A&M/UT game with dad, the Aggies didnt have the best odds of winning considering UT is the 3rd nationally ranked college football team this season and are undeafeated, but teh way i saw it, anything was possible! so i made mini "saw em off" cakes with sawed off UT longhorn's on maroon and white A&M mini square cakes for some good luck! and while the Aggies lost, they fought to the end and pulled one heck of a game! see, my goodluck cakes worked! :) and they were a hit at thanksgiving lunch before the game.

Red hat scoiety cake

The same lady who asked me to make the baby shower cake in my last post also ordered a Red hat society cake seeing as she was having both parties on the same day. I made a hat box cake and added a chocolate cake hat on top. The bow around the hat was my first fondant bow. :) I also made sure the hat was proportionate to the box. ;)

My first baby shower cake! Come to think of it, my first gumpaste teddy too! :) im pretty darn proud if this cake!

Globe cake!

My first sphere, this cake definitley presented some challenges. The first attempt was for the whole thing to be cake, but that ofcourse was too much weight, so i opted for plan B. The bottom half is styrofoam. placed atop a piece or sterilazed PVC pipe which is also covered in fondant. I made matching cupcakes to make up for the lack of cake :/ but they ended up really loving it! :) Im a perfectionist so i was determined to get this cake to stand up! lol The moon orbiting the earth is also a small styrofoam ball covered in fondant that i added some crators to. She requested that the happy birthday shout out come from Houston, TX, so i did my very best to pin point it! the globe as a whole is not EXACT...but i got as close as i could for the time I was allotted, this was a very last min request. :)

Hand made cherry blossoms

Cherry Blossom cake

My friend Alex wanted to get a cake for his friend fo rher birthday. He said anything with cherry blossoms, so here is my first cherry blossom cake! :) Im pretty darn proud of this one. It took me a loooooooooooooooong time and I even had to re-bake because I wasnt 100% satisfied, Im glad i did though. :) sorry but the video below is sideways...o_O
